Travelling bikers are having the TT’s Stay Alert Stay Alive message delivered to them on their crossings to the Island.
Members of the Road Safety Team will be travelling on the boats from Monday to Wednesday of practice week speaking to the visitors about the Island’s roads and the hazards they may face at this time of the year.
Research shows that on average 20% of the travellers will be visiting the Isle of Man for the first time.
It’s estimated the Steam Packet will be bringing well over 30,000 passengers to the Island throughout the duration of the TT fortnight.
