It’s believed this year’s TT has generated more than £25 million for the Manx economy.
That’s according to the MHK with responsibility for the event Laurence Skelly.
He says it’s positive news for the Island and is now hopeful the new look Festival of Motorcycling can also make a healthy return.
The festival – which has replaced the Manx Grand Prix Festival – traditionally attracts less visitors.
However Mr Skelly believes it has a lot of potential:
