The Department for Enterprise says TT traders at the grandstand are charged for generators, fencing, security, waste disposal, and water as well as rent.
Minister Tim Johnston gave the information in response to a written question from Rushen MHK Juan Watterson.
He was asked how pitches are allocated and their costs worked out - this year a number of Island food traders said they couldn't afford the high fees and tried to set up a food market at St Ninians, only to be refused planning permission.
Mr Johnston said the final fee took into account turnover, so a simple food stall would pay more than a specialist or niche food supplier.
