TT bikes stolen after Motorcycle Live display

Thieves have stolen the Superbike which was ridden to victory by TT ace Ian Hutchinson earlier this year.

Four Tyco BMW bikes were taken from a race transporter in Birmingham at some point between 10.30pm on Sunday and 6.30am yesterday.

They'd been on display at the NEC as part of Motorcycle Live allowing fans to see them 'up close and personal'.

In addition to Hutchy's treble winning Superstock specification bike the thieves also stole a bike belonging to TT favourite Guy Martin.

Team manager Philip Neil has described the theft as 'devastating' saying the team puts its 'heart and soul' into motorcycle racing and the bikes have real 'sentimental value'.
