The final schedule for the 2023 TT races has been confirmed, with Senior Race Day to take place on Saturday June 10.
The event will start on Monday May 29, which is a bank holiday, with the first race on Saturday June 3.
The government has confirmed that even though the Senior Race is now on the Saturday, Friday June 9 will remain as a bank holiday.
The Department for Enterprise made the decisions based on 'extensive research,' which included two separate public consultations.
It's added that the schedule will have a range of benefits such as increasing visitor numbers and lessening the impact on residents.
