Onchan commissioners say your untidy bush could land you with a court appearance.
On Facebook, the local authority is reminding landowners they're responsible for trimming hedges, trees, shrubs, or anything else that overhangs roads or paths.
If necessary, the commissioners say they'll have the work done and send an invoice - and take people to court if they don't pay.
Officers have already been inspecting bushes and sending out notices in the district.
