Organisations across the Island have been paying tribute to a well-known Manxman.
Willie Kneale BEM was president of the Castletown Metropolitan Silver Band and a lifetime member of the Manx Labour Party.
He was awarded a British Empire medal by the Queen in the June 2012 honours list for his work with armed forces organisations.
The Manx Labour Party says his life was dedicated to the service of others less fortunate.
