Tributes are being paid to a well-known figure in the Manx farming industry.
94-year-old Harvey Briggs, who farmed in Onchan and was Captain of the Parish, died yesterday.
In 2008 he was awarded the Tynwald Honour – the Manx parliament’s highest honour, for his long service to the community.
