A man's lost an employment tribunal against the Department of Education, Sport and Culture after filing his claim too late.
Juan Thomas Moore claimed constructive unfair dismissal against the department after his employment at University College Isle of Man ended last April.
He explained his claim had been made five months after the deadline date because he'd been awaiting the outcome of a grievance procedure.
However, tribunal chair Peter Scott dismissed the case, saying the proceedings could have been started within the three-month limit.
