A Douglas man will stand trial after being accused of punching his girlfriend in the face after an argument.
21-year-old Anthony Robert Collis, of Mona Street, appeared at Douglas Courthouse on Tuesday.
He denied assault causing actual bodily harm and a charge of possessing a prohibited article in a public place.
Both offences were allegedly carried out at his home address on September 3rd.
There was no application for bail and he was remanded at the Isle of Man Prison until his next court appearance on September 11th.
