A Castletown man will stand trial after denying carrying out a New Year's Day assault.
20-year-old Danny Sales, of Douglas Street, appeared at Douglas Courthouse this week.
He entered a not guilty plea to an offence of common assault on a female - it allegedly happened at a property in Douglas on January 1st.
A pre-trial review will take place on April 11th - he's been bailed in the meantime.
