A man who’s alleged to have assaulted his ex-girlfriend will stand trial in August.
Matthew James Lamberton of Eastfield in Douglas appeared at Douglas Courthouse before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes.
The court heard the 39 year old denies assaulting his former partner in Laxey on February 24.
Mrs Hughes adjourned the case for a pre-trial review, which will take place on May 21.
Mr Lamberton will appear again for trial on August 28.
