Simon Paul Leece Trial Begins Today - Expected to Last 13 Days
The trial of Simon Paul Leece the man charged with the fatal fire on Demesne road in 2009 will begin today.
Leece has been in custody since March of last year, accused of starting the house fire that claimed the life of 61 year old builder Terry Losh.
A string of fires had been started around the surrounding area of the property on Demesne Road on the same night of March 21st, all of which Leece is accused of starting.
Aswell as claiming the life of Mr Losh the fire also gutted the building seriously endangering the lives of the other residents.
34-year-old defendant Leece lived in Fairfield Terrace at the time of the incident.
The trial is expected to last 13 days.
