New legislation is being introduced to stop people avoiding paying their income tax.
The Treasury is trying to clamp down on the use of 'personal service companies'.
The new rules will mean individuals working through such companies will have to pay tax in the same way as other employees.
According to the Treasury there is evidence that some people have been using the loophole to try to avoid or reduce their liabilities.
