Tynwald Member\'s Input Needed for Future Budgets
From now on Tynwald members are to get more of a say in the way that the Government’s annual Budget is formulated.
Originally Treasury Minister Anne Craine opposed ideas to reform the budgetary process using the old adage if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.
She has since changed her outlook on it welcoming the chance for the Tynwald members to get involved and offer their input.
However the changes will not be implemented in time for February’s budget, with Minister Craine saying it would not be practical, desirable or achievable.
