A Douglas East MHK will quiz the Treasury minister about the Island's benefit rates in the House of Keys next week.
Joney Faragher is set to ask whether there's plans to link benefit rates with inflation, and what progress has been made with setting benefit rates in proportion to the living wage.
Plans to increase minimum work hours for those on employed persons' benefits were pushed back by Tynwald last year to protect the vulnerable.
The House of Keys is due to sit at 10am on Tuesday March 1.
