The Treasury Minister says he is not in favour of the government setting up its own airline.
It was an idea raised in the House of Keys yesterday by West Douglas MHK Chris Thomas who suggested the Island could follow Guernsey’s lead.
He wanted more information on government’s plans in light of the news that Flybe is closing its base at Ronaldsway.
Guernsey operates its own nationalised airline with any losses it makes incurred by its government.
