The Treasury Minister says work is progressing well on the formulation of the 2014 government budget.
Eddie Teare has confirmed that government is still on course to rebalance the books by 2015 but concedes there are still external factors that could affect this.
He told us the greatest challenge is to formulate a realistic budget, whilst still keeping the Isle of Man an attractive proposition, for both business and those living here.
Although finer details will not be known until February the Minister has made one firm assurance:
