The Treasury says it will be meeting with the Isle of Man Bankers Association later this week to discuss concerns over residents opening a bank accounts.
Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse asked in Tynwald if the Treasury Minister Dr Alex Allinson had any data about residents with poor credit struggling to open a bank account.
Dr Allinson said neither the treasury department nor the FSA had access to data on this.
However he was meeting with the Isle of Man Bankers Association to see if there was any systematic issues in this area:
