Today will see a number of treasure trove inquests carried out at Douglas Courthouse.
In the past Viking era silver ingots were discovered on land in Andreas, there have also been discoveries of silver coins dating back 700 years.
Once a valuation of the goods is carried out Manx National Heritage will have an option to purchase the finds.
The first of the three inquests will get underway at 2pm.
