Drivers Urged To Be Cautious
Motorists are being urged to drive with caution this morning as heavy rainfall has led to treacherous conditions in parts of the Island.
Some emergency road closures were put in place throughout the night, but now Cronk Y Voddy from Ballig Bridge to Douglas Road Corner Kirk Michael, and The Hope St Johns have re-opened. They re-opened shortly before 10:00Hrs.
Tthe Mountain Road (pictured) and it's smaller surrounding roads remain closed off to vehicles and are expected to be shut until at least Friday.
Most routes are passable with care, however there is a lot of standing water so drivers are being urged to take extra care.
