Marshals travelling to work at the Southern 100 next year will benefit from a special discount scheme.
It's part of an agreement between Southern 100 and the Steam Packet Company which looks to attract those from elsewhere to take part in the event.
Chief Marshal, Peter Chadwick, says whilst there are some experienced Island-based marshals, numbers are declining as the younger generations are not taking to the sport to volunteer.
Eligibility for the scheme is by invitation of the Steam Packet Company, information on this is available at www.southern100.com.
