Travellers urged to check passport validity

If you’re traveling abroad early in the New Year you’re being urged to check the validity of your passport before their office shuts for the Christmas break.

The Passport and Immigration office handles all applications and renewals as well as issues regarding immigration and nationality.

Anyone who discovers their passport is out of date, and requires one by a guaranteed date can make use of the five working days or express service.

The office will close at 4pm on Christmas Eve until Monday December 30^th, and again from 4pm on New Year’s Eve through to January 2^nd.
