Travel restrictions for Manx residents will change from next week.
The Island’s Council of Ministers met yesterday to discuss the next step in the easing of restrictions, deciding ‘the time is right’ to end the process of vaccination exemption forms for residents from Thursday.
Manx residents will no longer need to provide proof of vaccination, but will still need to fill in a landing form before arriving back on Island.
Government also states that from Thursday, residents who are unvaccinated will no longer have to be tested or self-isolate when returning from the common travel areas.
The current rules will still remain in place for those who return from countries on the green, amber, and red lists.
Case numbers and hospital admissions will continue to be monitored and lateral flow tests on return to the Island are encouraged.
