A farm in Onchan says it wants to build a new trampoline park to go alongside its other leisure activities.
Andrew Clague of Ballakaighen Farm on Whitebridge Road has applied for permission to knock down two unused barns.
In their place would be a new building housing the custom-designed park, which would be almost 850 square metres.
The new facility would be built near the farm’s existing laserblast and fun barn.
In his application, Mr Clague says he’s visited similar parks in the UK and feels it’s a viable business on the Island.
Luna Trampolines, based in Doncaster, has designed the park, which would also include a spectators’ area and cafe.
The steel-framed building would be clad and painted to minimise its impact on the surrounding landscape.
Planning permission for the unit was granted last year, but Mr Clague has made a further application to expand the building.
