The trainee police recruits practice arresting 'drink drivers'

Practical drink-drive training has been dished out to the Island's trainee police recruits.

It's the latest stage of their training which combined theoretical knowledge with practical role play exercises - one of those taking part was constable Luke Samuels:

The eight student constables are coming to the end of a 14-week classroom based course - if successful they'll go on to experience life on the beat.

Emily Kaighin says the practical sessions are important so they can carry out the procedure properly in a real-life scenario:
