Work to put in place traffic calming and safety measures in Douglas begin next week.
It'll take place on Alexander Drive in the area of Westminster Terrace and the EVF filling station from Monday (July 29) and is expected to last no longer than four weeks.
The Department of Infrastructure says it's getting underway from that date to minimise disruption to residents along with staff and pupils of Ballakermeen High School.
The petrol station will be open as normal and a four-way traffic light system in place with teams on site between 8am and 6pm on weekdays and from 8am until 2pm on weekends.
