Nationalists will gather in Castletown later this week for an annual ceremony.
The Illiam Dhone Commemoration takes place on Thursday, January 2.
The ceremony, which features speeches in English and Manx, will begin at 2pm at Hango Hill in Castletown.
Mec Vannin, which organises the event, says there'll be a social gathering at the Sidings pub in Castletown afterwards.
