Scores of residents are expected to take a trek out to one of the Island's iconic landmarks this evening.
The 2021 Tower of Refuge Walk gets underway tonight, and sees people make a rare journey out to the historic structure with donations raised going to the RNLI.
The theme this year will be Hawaiian getaway to a Covid-free destination, with organisers, Douglas Town Centre Mangement, hoping people will don their best tropical attire to wear with the wellies to get across.
Depending on tidal restrictions the walk is currently due to get underway at 6.30pm with anyone taking part asked to access the beach eithe by the steps at the Bottleneck Car Park or north of Broadway.
Meanwhile, coastguards will also be supervising the event to make sure those involved stay safe and people are asked to follow their instructions at all times and make sure they wear clothing suitable for the occasion.
Officials also advise whilst the walk is open to all ages, any children must be accompanied by an adult.
