Coastguards in Douglas have issued a warning about the dangers of being cut-off by incoming tides.
With low tides giving walking access to the Tower of Refuge in Douglas Bay people are being urged to be cautious.
The tower was built on Conister Rock in 1832 and lifeboat and coastguard every year have to carry out numerous rescues from the area.
The coastguard say; 'Remember when low tides enable access to the Tower of Refuge - give plenty of time to get back to shore and wear appropriate footwear.'
