A company's applied to turn a garage at a St John's tea room into tourist accommodation with special race viewing areas.
Ugly & Co Ltd, based in St George's Street in Douglas, wants to transform the building at Glen Moar Tearooms on Glen Helen Road.
It says it would create a new tourist unit with race-day facilities for stewards and a first-floor viewing platform.
The platform would allow up to 16 people views across the TT course.
