Government has contracted Regency Travel to take over the running of the Homestay Scheme.
It means the tourism division of the Department of Economic Development will no longer manage it.
From now available accommodation will be listed on Regency's iomttbreaks.com website instead of Visit Isle of Man.
Recent figures show an increasing demand for Homestay with 17 per cent of last year’s 40,000 visitors relying on it.
Head of tourism Angela Byrne told us why the decision was taken to contract the scheme out:
Ramsey Remembrance service to be marked by maroon rockets
MEDS phone line to be down temporarily
Committee to examine link between poverty and poor academic performance
Police advice for trick-or-treaters to stay safe
