The Island’s tourism industry is targeting a return to the glory days as the DED unveiled a new scheme aimed at keeping visitor numbers on the increase.
This includes greater facilities,
attractions and an overall experience at the TT as the number of fans visiting
continues to skyrocket each year.
Members of the department also
highlighted other areas they’re focusing on, including golf package holidays,
new hotels, restaurants and entertainment.
It’s estimated each visitor
spends around six nights here and spends well in excess of £300 a time.
