A conservative MP says the Manx and UK governments should club together to refurbish Heysham's ferry terminal.
Morecambe and Lunesdale MP David Morris says the town needs a state of the art ferry terminal with an expected growth in the number of tourists using it.
He's predicted improving the building would cost a fraction of the new Liverpool terminal still under construction.
And he's now planning to raise the issue with UK ministers and in parliament, saying Heysham Port owner Peel Ports should also contribute.
