Manx Grand Prix organisers say today's racing will be delayed by two hours, due to heavy rain being forecast.
Roads are expected to close no earlier than 11.30am today, Wednesday August 27.
Heavy rain this morning will mean time needed to allow for the roads to dry.
Organisers say a further update will be given at 11am.
The Clerk of the Course confirmed yesterday that in the case of delays, today's evening contingency session would be used.
This session would involve roads closing at 6pm and reopening by 9pm.
The first event is scheduled to be the Historic Junior Classic TT race, followed by the TT Rewind 80s and 90s parade lap.
