A new outpatient clinic has opened within orthopaedics at Noble's Hospital.
Last week, the first 15 patients were seen by UK-based Professor Puneet Monga and the on-Island orthopaedic team.
The initiative is a joint venture between Manx Care and Wrightington, Wigan, and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust to improve pathways and patient experiences.
Patients will now be able to visit Professor Monga here rather than going away to be seen.
