The Steam Packet Company says passengers heading to the Island on the Ben my Chree might have to suffer a short delay this afternoon.
On its website, the company says tidal conditions at Heysham may affect today's 2.15pm crossing.
The Ben is due to arrive in Douglas at 6pm.
However, the Steam Packet Company says there may be a delay of around 30 minutes setting off - passengers are being asked to check-in as normal.
