A new ticket scheme in stores will help shoppers identify Manx meat.
The Butcher's Charter will be displayed on fresh produce counters and will display the meat's place and date of purchase and where it was reared on Island.
The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture unveiled the Butcher's Charter at the Royal Manx Agricultural Show this weekend.
