Braddan commissioners say a programme to tackle problem trees in the area will have to wait until next year.
A report to a board meeting revealed a large number of trees in Braddan need managing or felling.
The board voted to set aside money for work to start in earnest next year - although urgent work will be done as soon as possible.
The local authority says the main body of work will be carried out over three years.
