Motorists in Kirk Michael are facing three weeks of delays during roadworks.
Department of Infrastructure contractors are installing new pavements in the village.
As a result, temporary traffic lights have been installed on Main Road around the junction with Balliera Road.
The department says the traffic lights will be in place for around three weeks.
