Three young people from the Isle of Man will study at space school this summer.
The sixth-form students from Ramsey Grammar, Castle Rushen and King Williams will be spending two weeks in the US at the NASA United Space School.
They won a yearly competition run by Manx satellite firm ManSat by writing essays on three space related subjects in the chance to win a scholarship for the trip.
Rose ten Donkelaar, Laurence Couch and Julius Herzig will travel to Houston to study with astronauts, engineers and scientists and help plan a simulated mission to Mars.
