Police say three people lost their lives in a car crash in Laxey this morning.
At around 9am a car on New Road crashed into a bus stop at Fairy cottage.
There were four people in the car, described as elderly Island residents – two were declared dead at the scene.
Another later died at Noble’s Hospital while the fourth remains critically injured.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident to come forward, and say they’re currently in the process of formally identifying those who died.
They’re also asking people not to speculate on social media.
