The swing bridge in Ramsey will be out of action for three days because of a mechanical fault.
The Department of Infrastructure says the turning system needs immediate repairs, which will start at 7am tomorrow.
The span will be left open to allow boats access to the inner harbour, and an emergency road closure is in place.
On Facebook, the department apologised for any inconvenience caused.
