The Department of Infrastructure says the closure is in place between 9:30am-4:30pm on October 17,18 and 19 between Ramsey and the Creg Ny Baa.
It's to allow for the removal of road-side road race equipment including shelters and signs.
The road may also close on Thursday 20 and Friday 21 October if weather conditions delay the work.
During the closure the Creg Ny Baa Hotel, Snaefell Summit Café and Railway, and Victory Café will all operate as normal.
