A rose garden that has been in Douglas for over 100 years has been vandalised.
Overnight on Thursday the area on Glen Falcon Road was damages in police describe as a sacrilege to the memory of the people who donated the land.
A bronze statue was pulled off its plinth and dragged around costing thousands of pounds worth of damage.
Police believe a large group of youths were drinking in the area and are urging any witnesses to come forward.
