The government says more than 2,200 fixed penalty notices have been withdrawn or cancelled in the past three years.
A freedom of information request to the Department of Infrastructure asked how many notices - issued for things like parking - had been overturned or dropped.
In response, the department said 744 had been cancelled in 2015, and that figure jumped to 813 a year later.
So far this year, the department says it's dropped a total of 652 tickets.
