Upwards of Ten Thousand Expected to Festival of Jurby
Today will see the second Festival of Jurby taking place, with thousands of people expected to flock to the airfield for a day of bikes and family themed fun.
It’s hoped if all goes to plan there could be upwards of ten thousand people in attendance.
This year the site has been overhauled to cope with the massive turnout, a new traffic management system is also in place.
Minister for Community, Culture and Leisure David Cretney has said events like this are vital for the Island:
