Revellers Expected to Turn Up in Their Droves For Agricultural Show Today
It’s the big day of the Royal Agricultural Show in Sulby today with thousands of revelers expected to turn up at the showfield.
Its one of the key dates of the Island’s yearly calendar with the usual blend of farming themed attractions and variety family entertainment.
The weather forecasts are saying it should be a good day for it with generally fine conditions predicted.
This year will see the return of biking aces Juan Knight and Steve Colley performing stunts, there’ll be sheep dog trials for the first time, a falconry demonstration and the main attraction, the Welsh Woodcutters – who carve things with chainsaws.
As well as all of the attractions there’ll be the traditional parade of livestock.
The proceedings will be drawing to a close around 6pm.
