Tholt-Y-Will road closed for clean up operation

It will be closed from the Bungalow to the junction with the Claddagh Road in Sulby.

The closure is to allow for the recovery of a crashed damaged car from a field off the switch back portion of the road, situated below Sulby Reservoir and above the former Tholt-Y-Will hotel.

The car being recovered was involved in a one vehicle collision in the early hours of Sunday morning, the driver, a 27 year old Onchan man, was alone at the time of the incident.

Officers still want to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision.

It’s anticipated the cleanup operation will take approximately 3 hours.
