Laxey's facing a gnomelessness crisis - after commissioners labelled little people outside their office a health and safety hazard.
When Garff Commissioners met earlier this month, members discussed gnomes outside the board's office at 35 New Road.
Commissioners said they'd been placed on steps beside the building, and agreed the figurines were a health and safety problem.
The clerk will now write to the owner to ask them to remove the statues.
